Susan offers Kindermusik and private piano lessons. In her music classes, she incorporates the philosophies of Delcrose, Orff, and Kodaly; and her own personal philsophy that music should be a joyful experience. She focuses on the process of learning, offering opportunities for children to perform as they express their readiness.

Kindermusik is an internationally acclaimed music and movement program for children ages newborn through seven years. The curriculum is designed to provide the child with a foundation for a lifetime of learning music, while simultaneously using music to address the development of the whole child. This "musical learning" is applied to the physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional domains of the child's development.

All classes include activities of singing, listening, playing instruments, movement, literature and lots of fun! The home environment is connected to the classroom experience through the use of home materials. Parents are involved in all or a portion of the class time at all levels.
